Privacy policy

Last updated 30 October 2026

This policy explains what Foiled collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website, foiled.app, and the Foiled app. The app is in development, so the sections about the app describe how it will handle data when it launches.

This website

The website has no cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or sign-up forms. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses.

What the app collects

How we use it

We use your data to run your account and show your cards, to apply the rules of the app (sealing, rarity and trading limits), to prevent abuse such as farming tasks or trade fraud, and to answer your support messages. We do not sell your personal data.

What other people see

Your profile and goals are private by default. Other people see a card only when you choose to show it or trade it.

Who processes your data

We use third-party providers to host the app and store its data. They process your data only to provide those services. We share data with anyone else only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except where the law requires us to keep something.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, export it or delete it. Email foiled.app@gmail.com from the address on your account. If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Foiled is not for people under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

When we change this policy, we change the date at the top. After the app launches, we will also tell app users about material changes.
